Live Report

It was the second, the moment, that we won't forget. The curtain opened up at The Gig Hollywood on Saturday, 12/27 2003 at 10:30pm! Dig Jelly up on stage y'all! It's two days after Christmas where EVERYBODY is out of town or supposedly kickin' it with their loved ones and familyz at home .. So we thought!

WRONG! There were 100s of those familiar faces behind the thick curtain that both divide us and reunite us! And once AGAIN so many of our beloved/die hard fans came out to support us!

It is LA folks. And Holiday gigs are the hardest gigs to get people to come out to. We don't even know how many New Year's Eve shows we turned down this year! So if you were there and reading our live report, we all want y'allz to know that we were just so overwhelmed by so many of you for showing up. It always means a lot to us. And this one really made it extra special :) Love you guyz!

The Gig Hollywood is like our second home. We feel so at home there. We know everybody there and people there are so warm and caring. It is rare here in Hollywood, I know!

From the first song "JADED" till the last song "Broken Trust", both our fans and we never let go of our energy! Oh yeah ... one of my favorite moments is when I give my mic to a cute girl in the front row and let her take over the verses of "Inside Out"! Oh it rocked! It was a kick ass night! And to top it, we received an encore! And everybody loved our encore song of choice --- a Rage cover "Killing in the name of" Dig Jelly style!!!

Right after everything was over and the ear shattering cheer, Rayko jumped off the stage to greet with her belovedz!! House DJ was playing some kool ass/funky Retro-esque dance music all night between the bands, and Rayko danced till she dropped as she got ton of new people on our mailing list and sold bunch of CDs!

The after party was held at our usual hang "Swingers" W. Hollywood! Where our guitar tech John joined us and we talked about some do'z and don'tz lol Our favorite waitress Kelly was still out of town :( We miss her!! hehehe

Around 4am we all went home to get some beauty sleep and to get ready for our next show in two days!! Yeah, Life is good! Rock'n Roll baby!!!!

Dig Jelly A little note regarding our latest CD:

Three songs from Dig Jelly's brand new CD "For Your Inner Angry Child" were produced by Richard Kaplan at Indigo Ranch Studio. He has produced BIG NAMES such as Korn, LimpBizkit, Slipknot, Weezer, Sting ...etc! It was an honor to work with him! He is dope! I mean, it was so tough to get him to come over to our rehearsal studio! He was in the middle of a project with Slipknot when he
squeezed us in! HAHAHA! He was gonna stay for 10 minutes ...
He fell in love with our music/style and enthusiasm! He ended up staying for over an hour and BAM, the recording project between him and DJ was born right there!
