This is the Bill Fulton Band: an exciting, contemporary jazz ensemble comprised of LA's finest musicians. Renowned saxist Ernie Watts appears with the band on occasion. The Bill Fulton band's instrumentation includes keyboards, bass, drums, trumpet, alto sax, tenor sax, trombone, vocals,and sometimes guitar. The style is contemporary jazz fusion but also incorporates latin, gospel, funk, swing, rock and hip-hop. Because of the band's 4 piece horn section, The sound is often reminiscent of the Brecker Brothers, Seawind, Tower of Power, and other "horn" bands. The Bill Fulton Band performs regularly at several Los Angeles venues including Lunaria, Catalina Bar & Grill, Sangria, La Ve Lee and most recently (5/29/05) at the Playboy Jazz at the Rose Bowl series. The album "Time" has been receiving national airplay on up to 20 radio stations.
